Care by Stage

Care priorities change by stage. Support should adjust as needs change.

Early

Early: Stable Routine

Forgetfulness, repeated questions and anxiety are common. Build regular routines, cognitive activities and communication methods.

Mid

Middle: Safety Support

The elder may rely more on family and become confused about time or place. Strengthen wandering prevention, fall prevention and daily care.

Late

Late: Close Support

Care needs are higher, covering meals, movement, emotions and longer companionship.

Family

Caregivers: Prevent Burnout

Family caregivers need rest too. Shared duties, respite support and clear agreement help sustain long-term care.
