CareLane housekeepers visit on a schedule that fits the household — everyday cleaning, laundry and ironing, cooking and meal prep, grocery shopping and errands. If the home has gone a long while without attention, a deep clean can be arranged, carried out by the same housekeepers.

Families
When housekeeping help makes sense
An elder who can no longer lift, bend or stand at the stove for long. A family working hours that leave no time to keep the home in order. A flat that needs a thorough clean before someone comes home from hospital. Any of these is a reason to arrange help.

How it works
Ways to arrange it
Hours and frequency are agreed based on the size of the flat, how much housework there is, the elder’s routine and our service coverage.
Spring clean
Before a festival, around a move, or ahead of a hospital discharge.
Regular housework
When the family works during the day and the home needs to stay in order.
Lighter support
Where there is less to do and a regular tidy and wash is enough.
Adjust anytime
The task list and the number of visits can change as circumstances do.

Why CareLane
How we work
The task list comes first
Agreed before the visit, so nothing has to be renegotiated at the door.
The same person where possible
On a regular arrangement we send the same housekeeper, so less has to be explained twice.
Built around the elder’s day
Naps and mealtimes are worked around, with an eye on noise and wet floors.
Runs alongside care
If personal care is also needed, the time slots can be planned together.
Start
Getting started
We start with the size of the flat, the current state of the housework and what most needs solving, then suggest the hours and frequency that fit.
01
Tell us the situation
By WhatsApp or phone — size of the flat, number of rooms, main housework needs.
02
Agree the task list
We set out what each visit covers, along with the elder’s meal and daily routine.
03
Confirm the schedule
We suggest hours and frequency to match the workload, then assign a housekeeper.
04
Adjust as you go
Once under way, the tasks or the number of visits can be changed.

Housekeeper
Everyday housework
HK$150–180 / hour
Minimum 3 hours · about HK$450 for 3 hours
Everyday cleaning, laundry and ironing, cooking and meal prep, grocery shopping and errands, with the task list set to suit the household.
Carried out by the same housekeepers, for the places everyday housework cannot reach — kitchen grease, bathroom limescale, inside the fridge, and dust up high.
The same housekeeper where possible · adjustable each month
Common when the family works during the day. The same housekeeper visits on a set schedule, learns where things go and how the elder eats, and communication gets easier.
Outside office hoursOutside Mon–Sat 09:00–18:00, a 30% surcharge applies. Public holidays and the first three days of Chinese New Year, 50%.
Remote districtsLantau beyond Tung Chung, the outlying islands and locations without direct public transport carry a HK$100 surcharge per visit. No other call-out fee.
Minimum hoursHousekeeping and deep cleaning both start from 3 hours per visit.
CancellationCancel 24 hours or more ahead at no charge. Under 24 hours, half the fee for that visit applies.
Rates shown are starting prices. Larger flats, heavier soiling, evening work or public holidays may be quoted separately. Cleaning products and equipment are normally provided by the household; if we are asked to buy them, we quote first and confirm before purchasing. Housekeeping does not cover exterior or high-rise window work, demolition or renovation, pest control or formaldehyde treatment. Where 4 visits or more are arranged consecutively, 10% is taken off each visit. There is no prepaid package and nothing expires.
Do we need to provide cleaning products and equipment?
Normally yes — the housekeeper uses what the household already has and gets familiar with it. If you would like us to buy supplies, we quote first and confirm before purchasing.
How is a housekeeper different from a live-in domestic helper?
A housekeeper visits by the hour and does not live in, completing an agreed task list each visit. It suits households that do not need all-day support and only want the housework handled regularly.
Is deep cleaning subcontracted to a cleaning company?
No. Deep cleaning is carried out by the same housekeepers at HK$200–250 per hour, also from a minimum of 3 hours. A housekeeper who already visits knows the flat.
Can personal care for the elder be arranged at the same time?
Housekeepers handle the housework. Bathing, toileting, feeding and transfers fall under home care, and the two can be planned into the same schedule.
The elder has special dietary needs — can you cook for that?
Texture, salt and oil can be adjusted as the family instructs. Where swallowing difficulty or a medical dietary restriction is involved, a qualified professional should assess first and we then follow those instructions.
How do cancellations and rescheduling work?
Cancel 24 hours or more ahead at no charge and reschedule freely. Under 24 hours, half the fee for that visit applies.
